Algorithmic Impact Assessment

A structured evaluation of the potential impacts of an AI or algorithmic system on individuals, groups, and society before and during deployment. Similar to privacy impact assessments but broader in scope, covering fairness, accuracy, and societal effects. Required by several US state laws and recommended by NIST and OECD.
