An extended transparency document for AI systems describing their capabilities, limitations, safety evaluations, and deployment context. Broader than a model card as it covers the full deployed system including its interfaces, use cases, and safety mitigations. Pioneered by OpenAI for GPT-4 and adopted by other frontier AI developers.
